Melonie is a name that everyone will soon know. Music industry insiders have been privy to this unequivocal voice for years, and although the general public may not realize it, they have been as well. For years, Melonie has been one of the most sought after session singers, soloists, background vocalists, and vocal arrangers. She has shared the stage, at venues across the globe, with vocal superstars such as Mariah Carey, Patti LaBelle, Whitney Houston, Ricky Martin, Mark Anthony and many others. Her vocal ability, coupled with her dynamic ear, propelled her to be the Chief Background Singer for Carey responsible for acquiring singers, and teaching parts and conducting rehearsals.

While classically trained, and a life-long student of all music forms, Melonie is definitely no stranger to Gospel Music. This Preacher's Kid is a native of Long Island, NY, where she has served as a Minister of Music and is a featured soloist amongst many local groups, ensembles and choirs. She is featured on countless recordings including The GMWA Women of Worship release entitled, "Forever" and "He Lives", where she renders the title track.

Although presented with varying opportunities for a secular solo career, she has taken heed to the call on her life to minister through song.
